I'm still here.
It's kind of lonely here. There aren't many posts. I think the Chinese interface must scare off the non-Chinese speaking users. It's not that hard, it's just a forum, all you need to know is which is the new thread link and which is the reply button.
I saw a post in the SLUniverse forums asking "What ever happened to Hipihi?"
I don't know what to say to them, signing up for Hipihi is easy. I've produced a web page with pretty good instructions on signing up, installing, setting up the language pack, etc., and now Alto Xeno at www.altoxeno.com has even better getting started instructions, and now the Origami site has the images with translations for the interface.
I do wonder why there are so few users in Hipihi. I would think there would be more just from people being curious.
Of course, I do remember Second Life back at the end of 2003 and beginning of 2004, and there were times I would be in SL and there were only 30 people online total, and that was after it was out of beta.
I hope the Hipihi system designers are succeeding in their goals. I'd like to hear about what they have in store.
