Hi, I am part of a group of students from Nanyang Tech University in Singapore. We are currently doing research on users’ perception toward virtual world participation. We know that hipihi is a Chinese language virtual world that is also starting its english interface, hence we would also want to study it as part of the global virtual world communties.

Is anyone outside of China able to view the Hipihi world now?

What I see is essentially a barren landscape. None of the new style objects appear, regardless of how many hours you wait.

If there's anyone in places like the USA, England, France, Australia, etc., that is currently able to view the Hipihi world properly I'd like hear from them.

If it is true that Hipihi is currently totally dysfunctional for "Overseas" users this might affect the results of your survey.
